We all know how important it is to drink water, but we don’t quite understand why it’s so important or even how much we should be drinking.
Are we at home at the desk?
Do we need a certain amount of water then?

Of course, things vary, but there are three main reasons why water is so important for our health.

First, it’s going to help hydrate the body-it’s going to help hydrate skin, hair, and nails.
It’s going to help the organs of the body function and work the way they’re intended to work, so things like the liver, the kidneys will do their job appropriately.
And overall-to make it simple-energy.
We have good energy, good function, etc.
How Much Should I Be drinking?
The formula for the amount of water you should be drinking as a general rule of thumb is to take your body weight, let’s say it’s 200 lbs, you divide that by two, and that’s how many ounces a day that you should be drinking.
So 200 lbs, cut that by two, 100 lbs left, drink that many ounces of water a day.
If you are active, you can increase that, but as a rule of thumb use that formula.
