Let’s talk about what’s causing your migraine headaches

Although it can be complicated, I’m going to break it down as simply as possible.

What causes migraines is what’s called a problem with the trigeminal cervical nucleus.

What that means is there’s a part of the brain called the trigeminal cervical nucleus, and when it gets irritated, it causes a pain response, migraine headaches.

And what goes into that nucleus is the trigeminal nerve, which is a fancy way of saying the nerve goes to your forehead, cheek, and chin, as well as the cervical, which is the upper spine, those top two and three bones of the upper neck.

When one of those two areas gets irritated, it’s not doing very well and doesn’t work very well, it irritates that nucleus causing a pain response.

If you’ve ever heard about the trigeminal cervical nucleus, either the trigeminal side or the cervical side, and how that influences migraine headaches, let’s talk about that because it’s an overlooked area, and it’s clear as far as the science is concerned what’s causing it.

Let’s figure out how to get you feeling better and get you feeling right for 2022.
